Using a Flip Video Camera in your Classroom
Turn the camera on by pressing the silver button on the right side of the camera. The screen on the back will say “Ready” and tell you how many minutes you have available to film.

To record, press red button on the back, You will see a countdown of minutes in the upper left hand corner of the screen. To zoom in, press the + button above the red button. To zoom out, press the – button below the red button. To stop recording, press the red button.

To delete your video, press the button with the trash can to the left of the red button panel. If the screen says “Delete Locked, press the button again until it says “Delete Unlocked”. The screen will prompt you to “Delete video? Yes No All. Use the arrows next to the red button to select the response you want, then press the > arrow next to the red button panel.
